Ali and Laszlo had an intimate wedding in a grand location, at the Emmanu El Temple on 65th and Fifth Ave in New York City. We did some family photos before the ceremony around the Ketubah signing. The highlight of the whole evening was the spectacular Chuppah that the couple got married under. It was really pretty amazing.
I normally encourage couples to book me for some prep photos, and more time for the family and wedding party images. Ali and Laszlo had a young son and wanted to be as quick as possible before he fell asleep, and then were going to a smaller dinner gathering to celebrate, so they only needed me for the ceremony. I was hugely impressed by the setup at Temple Emanu-El of New York. The synagogue was the first Reform Jewish congregation in New York City and, because of its size and prominence, has served as a flagship congregation in the Reform branch of Judaism since its founding in 1845. I am always available and happy to cover smaller weddings and I'm more than happy to only cover a ceremony.
